Everyone is famous or the best at something, but you can't always control what makes you famous. I thought that Jessica would think that Annie is old enough to not make a scene in the upper levels, but then Annie would clearly geek out anyway.

Is quicxy the woman that was there when Robert lost control of his powers? If so it's cool to see her again. I wonder if Robert and her are friends. Since she was instrumental in saving his wife.

I don't know, that was 25 years ago... It's possible this is her daughter. I thought the other woman would be called "Fast Track". Although Hypnos and Jessica are exceptions, most heroes lose their powers in their 40's- or at least their powers become weak enough they aren't able to be active superheroes.

If this is the same character or not, she certainly appeared previously on page 286. That was near the beginning of the sleepwalker arc when there was a big dark room of heroes debating if Hypnos had any family or children.

Yeah I forgot to backtrack but her being her daughter is cool too. That's one thing I like about Web comics. They aren't afraid to use legacy or relative heroes. I mean in stories where heroes have been going on since ww2. It's really weird that there isn't a lot of children with derivative powers. Like Barry Allen and wally west has twins despite how rare that is they both have twins but Jay garrick never has any children. Everyone in ww2 decided never to have kids except Alan Scott. It puzzled the hell out of me that DC and some marvel heroes have the weirdest decisions when it comes to progeny.

Plus hypnos body was in stasis. I don't think that really counts as ageing. Plus it wouldn't be insane to think mental/psychic abilities would last longer. Brains don't really mature to their physical prime till they are at least 25 to 30. Your brain doesnt really start decline till your at least late 50's.

Annie mentioned before that she had "elemental" powers, and wondered why, because her Mother's family had "psychic" powers. Maybe all powers can be traced back to the last A-Class heroes. Maybe here all powers are part of your family tree?

Annie might have some kind of psychic ability herself, but it could passive in a way that wouldn't have been noticed (although we've already seen she can be mind-controlled).

I suspect if we ever see enough of Annie's life, she'd probably had a child with electrical powers, maybe strong enough they wouldn't need a super suit to be a superhero themselves.
