Yeah, her seemingly having such an easy adjustment is a common critique. There's going to be a few attempts to fix that in this chapter.
I think that originally, I wanted to ration the focus on her changes/boobs, and that I'd cover that a little at a time. But maybe I've had too little about it.
I never thought of that as a flaw, her semingly seamless adjustment to having much bigger cleavage. Hell, many women would love that. I can understand you wanting to ration the focus, as you put it. I figure you didn't want the ample cleavage to distract from your main plot line. I am curious to see how you weave this into the story.
This plotline is so hilarious I'm just continually jealous for not having thought of it first. And you never make it crass or moronic; she deals with it like a real issue for a real person.
It probably wouldn't stick. The next time Tabtiha healed her, they'd probably grow back. Also Annie doesn't ever seem certain enough about wanting to change back. I think she feels a little silly, but there's a part of her that likes being like her idol.
There's also the whole issue about trying to reverse a power-based mutation with surgery. Like if she grew a third arm and tried to cut it off, how would it alter her powers?
I don't have a 100% reason why it happened, because I don't think they could know for sure unless they tried it on many people and had the same result on some. But I think she didn't have quite enough mass to hold the electricity, and her body grew in some way?
If they took away the extra mass she needed, maybe her mass to electricity ratio would be altered and she'd turn into a being of energy?
