I actually almost completely changed the text in the middle of drawing the artwork. A lot of this text was going to be on the next page, but I thought it was more important to tell this first.

I had a feeling this was going to be the outcome. Loving how this arc has been developing Grace as a person overall. I think she's a pretty fun character! The team dynamic from this arc was fun to watch as well.

Why didn't he just tell someone? Why wouldn't they heal the guy who is actively helping them de-petrified people?

I thought he'd worry a little about it irrationally. He's been petrified for almost two years already. He worries he's not important enough to be the first to rescue, especially when it'll be such a slow process.

In his mind, he has no other value once the solution is told. He has to take care of himself first.

Maybe he even found plans about what would happen in certain situations? I think in a way it came down to him not wanting to lose control of the situation. This way he thought everything would be his choice.

Yeah that makes sense. Plus he was conscious the whole time getting stuck like that and being aware of everything would eternally suck. Plus the evidence of their callousness with thunder punch. I'd be a bit more worried then most. Plus working on the clock with the fear his powers might weaken is definitely a frightening aspect.
