Tabitha's purpose in the story is to be a little crazy. Lucy is Annie's stabilizing influence, Tabitha is Annie's destabilizing influence.

I love the palette you use over this entire thing, the purples and purply-browns and reddish tones, not to mention the consistent geometric backgrounds everywhere, backgrounds are such a pain.
