I feel like if you want Annie to help you with something she'll ask fewer questions if a costume is involved. I also think Jessica is a bad influence on Annie.

Hey did her sidekick grow up with Annie? Or get to know Annie? I mean if sidekicks are only teenagers then they might have met in high school. Since Annie is early twenties. How did that all work out?

Sidekicks in this situation might be more like apprentices. I figure if the Government is involved, they wouldn't allow child Superheroes. Mastermind's sidekick is probably someone with similar powers that she chose to mentor.

Maybe a C-Class who either shows special promise, or one who is a problem and needs assistance (like someone with unstable powers or they can't control them). They probably are only sidekicks for a few years, and not every B-Class has a sidekick, and they aren't required.

It's like a different path to become a B-Class solo hero. When you are a C-Class (usually already on a two-person team) you can either become the sidekick to a B-Class, or join a three-person team.

She might know Annie a little, but I suspected that everyone is so busy she probably doesn't know her well. Kind of like knowing the adult child of your boss. I mean Annie kept her Mom from knowing about her physical changes for months.

My guess is that most heroes only have a sidekick for a few years or so, then that person either joins a three-person team as a semi-permanent C-Class, or they move up to B-Class.
