I tried to find the right balance with Annie's dialog in panel two that she was unhappy she couldn't be useful, but not unrealistic that she doesn't even have the power to fuel her suit.

Octopus Ink
Heckuva 'flick'!
Just how powerful IS she?!

Considering it snapped her head back and gave her a bloody lip, I'd put it around the level of jab to the face.

Without any horns, Evilyn is just a normal human with energy blasts from her eyes. SO Mira wouldn't have to be THAT strong to have that impact. Kind of like a punch.

Mira is around Spider-Man strength maybe? Arim is a little weaker and faster and was able to smash open Zoe's security door easily.

Spidey's strength and speed have changed over time. At times he can do double his normal. Avengers disassembled and the other story lines Peters powers were magnified. Giving him weird auxiliary powers like talking to insects and stingers from his wrists. They also gave him organic webbing. He has to eat a lot of starch. That's right everybody Peter is one of the few heroes who gets to eat french fries, mashed potatoes and every thing that isn't a main course or a vegetable <in my house we eat starch main meat and vegetable for dinner it's supposed to be a balanced diet> to keep up his organic webbing. I was happy he lost that ability out of spite and pure jealousy.

The Kiddy Table? That's just demeaning!

I'd rather sit with the kids and chat about what games and cartoons they like than listen to uncle bob go on about his latest work project. And I'm almost 40.

I just turned 39 and I totally agree with you!

It is possible that Jessica just knows what the adult talk about and knows her daughter wouldn't be interested.

Yeah the adult table get's pretty overrated. Plus I'm normally just around for my younger cousin's. Help them cut their food and stuff. All that good stuff. Plus sometimes they talk about government stuff I'm not supposed to hear. Or family stuff that my little cousins are definitely not supposed to hear. That stuff is not good for the ears of the youth.

OK they should stop here and see if she has any control. Baby steps people baby steps. Hey I just remembered why is she in danger of losing her abilities and Pandora isnt? Any damage or enough damage will result in her abilities going off right. Annie was sure that she couldn't contain it either.

Their plan is to stop here, but that might be more complicated than they think.

Taking away Pandora's powers might not be an option. They can take the powers away from a human- but not from an alien (especially an alien if all of their race have a common power), a god, or a creature created from magic or science. Pandora might not be human.

It actually is a special mission. Considering what they’re there to test, which is to both discover the upper limits of ‘Mean Evie’ (if she has any) and to try and teach Evie control being in that room is very important. It’s the room that has all the switches and buttons that release the knock out gas, power suppressors, lethal ordinance, etc. and she has them all at her finger tips.

I'm not sure they want to test the upper limits of Mean Evie, or they would have had the absolute strongest, they are just curious about her upper limits.

I can see Evie's concern about how _easy_ it is to bring out "Mean Evie". A stumble and face-plant is about all it takes.
